5/4: Down/Stay

6 Sessions for only $245
Your first of six sessions is an orientation without your dog. This introductory clicker training class deals with all those pesky doggy behaviors that can land a dog in the shelter like jumping, barking, chewing, digging, AND POOR LEASH MANNERS.
We will also talk about house training, crate training, puppy biting, diet and exercise, socialization, and most importantly, good leadership. You will learn to read your dogs and understand how to help them feel safe and supported. I will address any other concerns you have so that you leave orientation already feeling more in control of your pup, even before we've had our first lesson!
You will bring your dog for these 5 lessons:
The Hand Signal Sit & Wait - Your dog will learn quickly to sit and hold his position.
Meet & Greet Nicely and Settle - Your dog will learn to politely meet new people and to chill out and relax when you want to.
Easy-Going Leash Skills - Your dog will learn to walk nicely by your side and not pull on his leash. We will also cover how to deal with meeting other dogs of all sorts out in the real world.
Down & Stay - Your dog will learn to lie down to a verbal command and hold his position.
Come When Called - Every Time! Your dog will learn to return to you immediately and quickly when you call him.
This class is about 45 minutes long.
